Polaris Xplorer 250, Replaced petcock, won't start

I have a Polaris Xplorer 250 4x4. It's a great quad, ran without issue until I noticed the fuel valve was slowly dripping gas. Ordered a new one, easy enough to replace, but now it won't start! I put the old one back on to see if it was an issue with the new petcock, and it still wouldn't start (it was running fine 15 minutes earlier). Engine just cranks and cranks. Any insight would be helpful.

During the part swap you may have got some dirt into the fuel line.  Pull the carb and give it a clean.

I’ve also had a issue with valve—turned ever so slightly can make a huge difference on aftermarket petcocks—after you cleaned carb, I would see if adequate fuel is coming out of petcock before installing the fuel line back on. 

And not a bad idea to install a fuel filter between new petcock and carb...

@Seabench did you put the lines back on correctly?

That is one thing I'm not sure of. I tried all different variations and none of them worked. Also, I changed one of the tubes because when I pulled the old one off it ripped. The diameter is smaller then the original. Do you think that would be an issue?

Possibly if it’s not getting enough fuel—but should still fire and run for a lil bit
