Hi Guys, new to the forum so apologies if i am posting in the wrong place.
So my son got a new Quadzilla Proshark from Santa. Seemed to be running fine yesterday but today it starts then dies or doesn’t have enough power to move the quad.

I’ve checked the spark plug and seemed ok. Floats moving in carb. It’s a bit Smokey but not crazy.

What you reckons the problem? Something simple I can tackle while the shop is closed?

Is there a choke and have you messed with that? It sounds like a fuel problem to me. It starts but then dies out, right? Is there a fuel petcock valve that is in the wrong position possibly? Is this thing new or used?

Yep has a choke but haven’t messed with it. Didn’t need it to start Christmas morning. Cleaned the carb. Jets all fine. Petcock working ok on reserve and on position.

Anyone know where I can get a manual to check position of air screws etc. It’s the Proshark 100cc off road model.

Ha..

If you work on it you'll probably void the warranty..

Blocked exhaust ?

After it's died take the sparkplug out and see if it's wet or dry..

Hi all.  New to the forum & quads.  Seems like a great place full of info.
I just recently picked up a 2005 Suzuki KingQuad LTA700.  I need a battery.  I've been reading up on conventional vs AGM types.  I have a Royal Distributing and Canadian Tire.  RD has 2 types avail for my year/Model a battery YTX16-BS CRANK $75, and BATTERY YTX20CH-BS YUASA $140.  Neither of these is the type from the manual FTZ16-BS.
from what I can tell... I think the only difference is the capacity with the $75 unit rated at 14 AH/10HR and the $140 unit rated at 18 AH/10HR ... which is the rating in the manual for the FTZ16-BS.  How much does this make a difference for nearly x2 the cost?
And about the models/type numbers.... what is important to know ... they all end in "-BS" but are the other details relevant or just manufacturer naming?

It seems every ATV i look at to buy used has no title, does everyone loose there title, or do they change hands so often the title is lost in the shuffle. The ones that do have titles are triple the price. I am new to buying used quads is this pretty standard procedure.
I know all quads are good and tough but thought it might be good to hear opinions as to what member think is the best, from your experiences.
