hi! just bought a used atv, everything looks fine but wondering the reason why i have the 2nd gear slipping a bit...all other gears are fine...i went to the shop and gonna do a engine cleaning and oil/filter change for good atv motor oil. guy was saying maybe old owner might have put car oil in it and its not the same... thanks in advance

That could be it. You might want to think about putting a new set of clutch plates. Here's a link to one on Ebay if you're interested. It sounds like the clutch plate for 2nd gear might be slipping. You could also try adjusting the clutch a little bit and see if that helps before you buy anything. I have the same bike.

      I have a 2016 Arctic Cat 500 and recently noticed some oil leaking on the engine block to the right of the oil filter. It's near two metal lines going in and out of the engine block. I think one of the lines is called an engine oil line. I have a photo I'm going to try and attach. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to start tearing into the engine if I don't have to. I think maybe a gasket or something blew around one of these lines. The ATV runs fine otherwise. Doesn't overheat or anything.
