Thank for the add on quad crazy. I am new here and need some help with my atv. It’s a older Yamaha Timberwolf 250 that I purchased second hand from an person. I got it home ans started to look into it. He stated it needed a cdi box so I ordered one for it and a battery as well also a key switch cause it did not come with one. I put all the parts on it and when I hit the start button it just clicks and noting else. Thank you any help is appreciated.

Hello,
Long story short, I accidentally fried my quad's CDI box.
I found several OEM ones for $300 which are out of my price range. Does any one know where to find one for less? Or any way to modify a $20 Chinese CDI to make it work? Thanks.

I seem to have no resistance at all on the rear brake pedal and no rear brakes. They were pretty good before I removed the right side crank cover. In order to get to the lower bolts of the cover, I took a piece of baling wire and wired the pedal in the down position. I assume, that caused at least, part of the brake problem. I can't see where fluid came out but, I did have to add more fluid. Added the fluid but still no resistance to pedal. Should I try to bleed the rear brakes? Thanks

Hi! I'm new to the forums I'm working on my klf300 that isn't starting anymore. I accidentally ripped apart the spark plug cap, and I'm curious to know the resistance of the original part, it's not mentioned in the manuals. If anyone with a KLF300 could measure their OEM or known working replacement spark plug cap I would be very happy NGK for example has spark caps with resistances 0, 5, 10, 15 ohms so it seems to be something that I would like to match as close as possible with the original part.
Thanks,
Pär, Sweden
