I have had good luck with Ebay lately. I needed a new side case for my engine, it was 1/3 the cost of new, but it came with the bearings and stator which i really didnt need but it kept me from having to take them out and reinstall, and the bearings and stator were good so i came out OK at 69.00, free shipping, now i have a spare stator. I was also looking for an OEM carb to rebuild, won one in an auction, i dont usually bid on stuff but this time i did, for 20.00, not expecting that, they usually go for a lot more, but 10.00 shipping and i still have to buy a kit, so i will have about 60.00 in it, only 10% of cost of new carb. So my point is if you look around you can get good deals on Ebay, but you have to be careful and look at things closely.

After i did my rebuild it seems to not want to shift well. I think the cable is alright, and when it does shift its nice and solid. I have to basically use my hand to shift and i have to pull or push it very far, like max travel, to get it to shift. I also tried adjusting the clutch set screw. Any ideas where to go next, or maybe i should just grab a new cable to try.

Hi everyone and thanks for reading.
My husband and me are getting ready to host the 2nd Quad Runners event at our nudist campground. The first one (last year) went pretty well with about 20 quads attending and have to say, it was a smaller group, but they made up for their size with the large interest in partying and there was plenty of nudity as the Saturday night went on.
We have decided to host another one this summer, but we are looking for some fun (but safe) riding events. Our grounds are almost all flat and remember we are a nudist campground so many of us are bare as* naked so "slow ride" events would be the best.
Give us your thoughts and ideas and feel free to ask us anything you would like, and we will answer right here in the thread.
Thanks for your help and ride safe.
BTW, let us know what "anything goes" means for this thread section.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).
