You need to tell us more..  That's what I think. Like, is it warm or cold, idling or with the throttle open, has it had any work done to it, has it had a tune ever..  I could be guessing forever why an engine might "randomly" shut off.

My guess is, that, because there is very little in this universe that is completely random, that there will be clues which you are not telling us, that will explain the random and reveal it to be in fact some degree of chaos, not random..  haha.. Well you did ask for thoughts.. Any thoughts.

battery COM (-) connections are worth checking.  Do the panel lights go off when it shuts down?  If so that's a clue.  Lack of fuel (plugged fuel filter) would manifest itself by motor not increasing with throttle up.

Sounds electrical.. The 'wiggle test' is a good check of poor connections.  If when the motor is running wiggle / tug and pull (lightly) on everything to see if you cn cause a failure.

Definitely need more info, is it shutting off instantly? Is it studdering befor shutting off? Does it idle at all, does it shut off when giving it throttle? Does it start up and die right away or run for a bit and die. More info will be extremely helpful in order to be able to help you better.

O3 sat a while. Engine is running fine. I got it into neutral, did some general tune-up and cleaning then pulled the shifter pedal up and it locked up and will not release into neutral again.  Does anyone have experience with this problem?  Thanks for looking and any help.

Hey guys, so I've been messing with my quad, and between all the starts, the battery is dead. Is there a certain way to charge these? Can I just throw a trickle charger on it and call it a day? can i also jump it like a normal car with a battery pack or is that to much voltage

The battery on my Big Bear drops completely down in the battery compartment nothing sticks up to grip too, plus there is only 1/8" clearance along the sides, no way to get a grip on it to pull up out of battery compartment. I thought about putting a piece nylon strap under the battery and leaving enough up each side to give me something to pull it up out ff the battery compartment or using a big zip tie around the battery.
Any others have any ideas or have had this issue.

What are everyone's thoughts on the CFmoto Brand ATV? I can get everything I want for a fraction of what these big brand name wheelers are charging. TIA for your input. Please let's keep this nice and clean Peep's
