anybody have a electrical drawing

cant figure out problem

new starter relay, when i turn the key on all 3 leads to relay are hot red, blue, blue white. Is that correct. nothing happens ir clicks at the starter relay when i push the start button

on the relay closest to the cdi and nearest the brake light the relay vibrates as if it is opening and closing rapidly

the batter is new and good

if i short the B and M lugs on the starter relay the engines turns over but does not start and there is no spark

I ordered a new cdi but the one on the machine is only a few months old but a aftermarket

anybody have a electrical drawing or advice ir know what that relay symptom is and what activates it

thanks ahead

Thanks

Im a new member so i cant download the manual until i have 10 posts

i wonder ig this counts as number 2 post

anyway i cant tell much about the drawing without the page that identifies the component  by the location number on the drawing

can you tell what the relay beside the cdi on the closest to the taillight

there are 5 relays

3 on one side and 2 on one side

its the one closest to the cdi

thanks ahead

I have checked the ground and the battery is good

the red light on the console flickers like the relay does

Should the red, blue , and blue white wire to the starter relay all have 12 volts

Another question

the oem stator has 3 white wires going to a round connector under the seat

the after market stator has 3 wires to the connector but the are all different color wires

Does it make any difference how they connect to the white wires that are part of the wire harness

Only when engaged. If the relay is clicking, it's engaging with the switch. Did you test the starter solenoid, starter? Jump the starter? Forgot to add the descriptions page from the manual for you (see attached). Should be Blue/Black, Blue/White, Red wires to the relay. My guess is you have a bad starter/solenoid.

Maybe check out this video for some guidance:

If i jump the starter across the B and M posts on the starter relay the engine turns over

Im gonna look at the electrical info

i also need to confirm if the blue and blue white wire only have 12 volts with the key turned

Im still curious of the clicking relay beside the cdi

Ill test the starter relay along with a new one

and the power from the start button

If the neutral light is on would it matter if the button on the left brake is disconnected

it was broken and the wires are disconnected

oh well

UPDATE

tested and replaces the starter relay with a new relay.

no change, nothing works

i disconnected the aftermarket cdi and connected the old oem cdi,

the oem cfi had failed and would not produce power to the coil for spark which is why i replaced it

with the oem cdi when i hit the start button everything seems to work and the engine turns over, the relay near the cdi stops the rapid connect/ disconnect but there is no spark which i expected

im getting the cdi i ordered tomorrow so i will then see if it will have spark and start

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.

Just some friendly advice on new tires. Check with your ATV dealer.
There are so many aftermarket sites, Revco, Royal Distributing, Partzilla, and on and on. Even with their “ big sales”, my local Canam dealer’s REGULAR price beat the tire prices of the 3rd party sellers! People often assume the Dealership will cost them more, but I found this not to be true!
