Hey anybody out there live near Trevorton? I have heard that they are cracking down on riding atvs at the hill climbs and the surrounding areas. Any truth to that? I'm looking to go up there in May and I need to know if you can still ride there.

I believe that Treverton is part of RAC. If it is, then yes they are patrolling it now. You must purchase a RAC permit to legally ride their property. The local police are also cracking down on people riding thru parking lots and on roads. 16 people were cited in a 3 hour period trying to drive to a gas station. One guy got fined twice on 2 different machines.

thanks a bunch for the info. Yes RAC owns alot of ground in and around Trevorton. Do you know if there are any more permits available? We usually park at Locust junction and ride the trails to Trevorton.

I picked up permits yesterday, I'm #1014. Treverton and Locust Gap are indeed part of RAC. The bulk of their property is south of I-81. on the map I got it appears that they have a 15 mile long by 5 mile wide area there. The Treverton area is not all on the map, but it looks like it could be about 6000 acres there. They give you directions to a parking area in Treverton when you get your permit. You do have to display a parking pass in your tow vehicle or you could be towed.

I have been exploring all the options available, so many, its hard to choose. I have kind of narrowed it down to the Honda Pilot, Subaru Outback, and Kind of looking at the Outlander, although its a little small,  the new one is nice looking. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations or gripes with any of these rides. I have driven Jeeps for the past 25  years and they have been great, but their price point has gotten to high. Expieriences good or bad would be helpful. Thanks!

This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.

My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.

      Hey all!
I'm on a mission to buy my first UTV soundbar as a gift for my dad(a newbie on ATV). I'm aiming for something that offers great sound quality without breaking the bank – my budget is around $250. Right now, I'm considering options like ecoxgear, kemimoto, and boss.
Does anyone have experience with these brands or specific models that you'd recommend? Any advice or suggestions would be super appreciated!
