WPSA POWERSPORTS ATV TOUR ANNOUNCES REWARDS PROGRAM FOR 2007

WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. (Jan. 2, 2007) —The WPSA PowerSports ATV Tour has unveiled its PowerSports ATV Rewards Program for 2007. The Program, which is open to all racers who competed in at least two events during the 2006 season, features a discounted membership price, as well as a “Buddy Program” to reward last year’s racers.

Eligible riders will receive a membership at last year’s price of $40 if they register prior to Feb. 1, 2007. In addition, the “Buddy Program” will allow eligible riders to invite their friends to register for membership at the discounted price. The rider with the most friends registered prior to Feb.1, 2007 will receive half price entries for the entire 2007 season. Information packets have been sent to eligible riders, and should be received some time this week.

“There were many riders who took a chance on us in 2006, and this program is our way of saying thanks for their support during our first season,” said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. Executive Vice President of Operations Kent Lungstrom. “Along with the discount, and a shot at half price entries for the season, we are giving our loyal racers the opportunity to pass along the savings and benefits to their friends.”

Hey guys and gals. I've been working on my friends 2007 big bear IRS. Unfortunately after 3 different people got their hands on it and only made things worse every time.  After months of finding just crazy problems everywhere. I'm finally at the point we're its almost 100% !!! But I'm getting a short somewhere between the 4xW switch I believe. I managed to by searching the internet like a  fiend, got my hands on an official Yamaha wire harness for the year and make. But I don't have the numbered component list and to be honest. After hours of going through and making everything so it's  easy to reference. If anyone has a picture of the referenced components. I would be forever in your debt. I've spent hours marking up the blown up diagram so it will be easy, for any possible future repairs. Please and thank you. Here's a picture of what i have so far.  Unsealed it in plastic so oil and crap won't spill or get smudged. This damn things worth it's weight in gold.              Thanks Jeff                2007 Yamaha big bear 400 IRS.       YFM40FBW

I was looking to buy a new ATV.
I was debating between Polaris sportsman 450 and Honda rancher.
      Polaris it a bit cheaper.
But can you tell me which one will have more demand on the used market? Which one will keep it's value better?

Let's say 3-5 years from now.

I have a 2007 kingquad 450 fuel injection. I try to start it with the hand crank and almost flip over the quad. I have taken the hand crank off and cleaned it but this did not fix the problem. I believe there is a decompression valve that is supposed to engage when pulling it over by hand. How can I check this?

Hi, I'm a newbie on here.  I just got a 2007 Suzuki KingQuad LT-A450X.  Are there any specific issues to look for on this model?  Any specific maintenance to do other than the usual oil and filter changes?
      Thanks

(Question is at the end if you want to skip my blabbering) I got this unbelievably well taken care of Grizzly 350 in for a carb clean, it belongs to an elderly couple that bought it brand new in '07. Apparently whoever has been doing their oil changes for them never checked the air filter..
Obviously it got debris in the carb, it would still run but only idle with slight choke. I've taken it apart and cleaned it, have new o rings, gaskets, etc. As far as the mixture screw is concerned, I'm assuming I obviously need to remove the plug. I'm mainly a lawn equipment guy, I've worked on slide carbs in the past but never an unmolested one with the plug still intact. I hate to mess with it as the carb had very little debris but I'm sure the o ring needs to be replaced at minimum. Finally, the question: what's the best way of removing the plug? I DO NOT want to mess up this carb..
