I have a yamaha blaster that I did some clutch work on, when I put the plate back on and start the ATV the kickstart goes down but doesnt come back up and makes a clicking noise. anyone know whats going on and how to fix it?

Can you manually move it back up? Does it move freely up or is it stuck down?

For some reason your return spring is not working and the only thing to do is take it apart. Might not be the spring, could be a plastic retainer or something

sometimes it stays up but you've gotta move it like 20 times to get it in the right spot, then when its started it just falls freely
