Hey! big issues with my LTZ-400

hey all.

I have a 05 LTZ-400 and used to ride it very often. Now things have come up (college and other things as well) and i have not ridden it for about a year... now some issues came up.

one big issue is Well.. everytime I try cranking it up I see fuel pouring from the intake and into the intake bucket. Now... I do not know much about Quads but my main hobby is cars. I currently have a 3000gt VR-4. So i have a fair amount of knowledge about mechanics.

Anyone know what has happened? only modifications it has is an exhaust and K&N air filter.

Like you I dont have alot of exp. with these quads (mines an 04 400) but I'd say if it sat for that long you might want to start with cleaning the carb. I bought my son a 98 recon that sat for about 6 months and had to do the same thing to it.

      91 quadrunner lt4wd shifting issue

      After i did my rebuild it seems to not want to shift well. I think the cable is alright, and when it does shift its nice and solid. I have to basically use my hand to shift and i have to pull or push it very far, like max travel, to get it to shift. I also tried adjusting the clutch set screw. Any ideas where to go next, or maybe i should just grab a new cable to try.

      was thinking most of us on this forum would have another ride, so to get the ball rolling...........
      MY MAX 4 6X6 2009, now this will actually go anywhere including across the water. In the 3rd photo I had gone up the river about 30 meters then climbed up the bank, 6X6 owners call it "swimming"

      Fuel issue

      I am having an issue with a hs500. I bought it broken and have been trying to get it running. It seems to be starving for fuel. If I put my hand over the intake it will crank but will not run for very long because I'm not able to get the correct airflow with my hand. The things I have done so far are. Replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, mass airflow sensor, idle air adjuster, fuel injector, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the ecu, and still the same issue. I notice the injector does not spray when removed from the head. I dont know if that is common. 
       
      I am out of ideas on what to do next. I have removed the fuel line from the injector and it is getting plenty of fuel. If anyone has an idea on what could possibly be the issue I would be happy to try anything at this point.
