WindDig (Quadfest) - Somerset PA

Recommended Posts

Just because it was buried in a ride in pa post here is the info. This event is to be held at Mountain Ridge Trails Resort the same place that hosted Quadfest years ago. I think wind dig will be toned down version of quadfest or at least that is what they are aiming for. Not sure if the numbers will reach 5,000 like past years but I figure it's something to check out.

Here is the information from the website: Mountain WindDig Family ATV Ride

The WindDig Family ATV Ridewill be held July 16-17-18, 2010 at Mountain Ridge Trails Resort; It is an ATV exposition that is meant to provide an exciting weekend for ‘everything ATV.’ There will be ATV trail riding, skill events, a scavenger hunt, Saturday night entertainment, and motocross time trials along with a vendor show including OEM and dealerships in the area.

Anyone purchase or check out Rockymtnatv lately? Well I was just browsing over there and they have a pretty cool section called Ten Dollars Or Less. Some interesting things to check out if you are in the market.

Does anyone use GPS, whether on a device or app to record their ATV trail rides? I have been thinking about a section where our members can upload let's say a .gpx file and share their rides on a google map for others to see where there are riding areas. Not sure if this is something of interest or how much it would be used, so just trying to get an idea.

I am in the process of puting it back together after replacing the DPS gearbox.
The manual I have states that it will need to be flashed by a dealer. Is this still true?
Also , I have a mystery bolt That I cannot remember where it goes. M6x 70 or so.  Hex head with a flat washer.I will try to attach a pic.
Pic is no go for now....Cox issue I will try again later
      TIA

Hello from southeast Georgia. Was gifted a 2000 Yamaha bear tracker with out a carb or battery and looking like it had seen better days. Was told it had sat for about three years. Explained a lot. Put a carb on and a battery in and it started right up. Surprised the heck out of me  Anyhow as stated in my opening I am  78 years old with a very long motorcycle backgground but brand new to atv's. Anyone else out here from Georgia? Would like to meet up with some folks for a ride or two. Looks like a great site. Thanks for having me.
      Don
