Good luck finding a link, but I would recommend just buying one so you can have the book in hand while you work on the machine. Everyone wants a free link to a PDF download, but nobody wants to spend the $25 or $30 for a Clymer or Chilton, let alone pay $80 for a factory manual. If everybody gets them for free, then there will be no incentive for people to make manuals for us to use. They are well worth the money, so I don't get why people don't want to pay for them. $80 for a factory manual is way better than paying a tech $80-90 per hour to fix your machine using the same exact manual that you can buy yourself. I hope you can find a way to fix your problem that meets your needs, good luck.

      Hi all,

I am wondering if any of you have a Clutch Starter gear from a 1988 era quadrunner 250 sitting around that you could get me a precise measurement of the outer diameter of the race the sprag engages onto, for me? I need to machine a damaged race down and install a hardened sleeve and need that measurement (it's on a different gear than the OEM one, so I can't buy and use a OEM gear).

Good morning, I am new to the forum. I'm 75 years old and love getting ATVs back to usable condition. I particularly like the 2006-2009 Arctic Cat 250 Utility. I currently own 6. The 2006 I am working on only has reverse and low gear. The "drive shaft" in the transmission is completely stripped where the high gear would mesh. Has anyone on here replaced the shaft. I'm told I have to split the case. I was hoping that someone on here could let me know how hard it will be. I already have it stripped down to where the shaft coming in from the clutch side is the only thing left. I was hoping I could just remove the driven clutch and drive it out from there. Directions say different. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
