Suzuki Twin Peaks Differential Lock Question

Hi,

I have a 2004 Suzuki Twin Peaks 700 that I recently purchased used. It seems like the front differential is locked as both tires always spin at the same time. Has anyone ever had this problem? Does anyone know what type of fluid goes in the differential case or how to get it to release? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
