1985 Honda 200s

Picked up an 85 Honda 200s recently. The last time it ran was in 1990. I removed the fuel tank and cleaned the rust out of it and rebuilt the carburator. She started up 2 pulls. I rode the little bugger around for a week no problem and parked it. the other day I went out for a ride and it would not start, no spark. :confused: any help please?

Welcome to QUADCRAZY!

Is it getting fuel? With all that rust and al you cleanedl, make sure nothing clogged up. Check to make sure the plug didn't foul out. Find out if it's a spark or fuel issue.

Any recomendations for carb adjustments. still running rich and fouling plugs. Also the air filter is missing, im assuming.

      on my honda trx 500 we have no power to the ignition switch for starting or ignition
      we have lights and horn working
      all fuses are fine
      have traced through the harness and cant find any broken wires or bad connections
      from what we have gathered so far the pgm fi unit is not sending any power to the fuel pump relay to power everything up.
      if we put power direct to the ignition switch plug then everything works but wth the key in the off position.
      does this sound like a faulty pgm fi unit?

      91 & 92 honda trx350 4x4

      Hey everyone, I just picked up a 91 trx350 4x4 with a blown top end. I don't know what happened to the poor thing but the cam journals that were round are oval shaped now. I also bought a running engine from a 92 trx350 4x4 to swap into the 91. Is there anything in particular I should be checking while the engine is out and I have good access to it and the frame?

      Hisun 700 EFI. Replaced TMAP sensor had broken off . Fuel pump pressure 41psi. The only way I can keep it running (and runs fine) is to close off fuel return line.
