Trailblazer 250 revving and PVT problem.

Having a problem with my Polaris Trailblazer 250 and was wondering could you help.

Was out trailing today quad ran heavy ground next thing it wouldnt rev high in neutral or in gear. Strange rattle near the front of the pvt system. Pulled the quad back to the road and it drove fine again then 5 mins later when I went into reverse it wouldn't rev out again, the rattle from the pvt towards the front of the quad is back again. Also the transition that the belt is meant to make between the primary and secondary clutch while the throttle is on is not happening.

Any ideas what might be the problem?

Regards

Mark

Could be the spring or the weights, there really isn't much else that can break in there. The belt could be bad, but that wouldn't rattle.

Im guessing its the spring that can be seen in this diagram marked number 11 that you are referencing to?

Also the weights are on the primary clutch, there are located inside the drum with the blue spring that I can see when the CVT cover is taken off

It seems every ATV i look at to buy used has no title, does everyone loose there title, or do they change hands so often the title is lost in the shuffle. The ones that do have titles are triple the price. I am new to buying used quads is this pretty standard procedure.
I know all quads are good and tough but thought it might be good to hear opinions as to what member think is the best, from your experiences.

I have a 1985 Suzuki lt230ge with electric start.  It has a keyed ignition.  The key, once inserted will move to two positions.  There is a button on the left handlebar to engage the starter... so what do the two key positions do.  Anyone know???? I am looking forward to getting to enjoy this machine but I can't find a lot of info online about such a classic ATV.  Thanks in advance for any advice!!

      Hi all-
I’ve got a LT300e that I’m working on.  The last two days I noticed as I’ve been testing it, it won’t turn off with the key. The kill switch still works to turn it off, as does everything else (lights, neutral light, reverse, starter, etc). So I guess I’m taking votes on what to do here… Ignition the issue? Wiring grounding issue somewhere?
Not sure where to start so any help would be appreciated!

Hey all got a Kawasaki 300 that's seen better days I'm looking to get running.  But first, I'm working on a Honda 350 ES and mainly needing where are you all finding quality parts at good prices.  Atvs are really hot items around here right now and most of the folks wanting and needing them are not familiar with working on them.  I'm looking to find a good resource for information and if it works out well pass this group along to the folks I help to get them in the know how to get the most out of their machines.  Thanks in advance.

Does Anyone know the Fuse is for these two Accessories wires in the Light Pods (color: red and orange wires) ?
Checked all the fuses with a tester, and they were all fine.
      Thanks
