Goon riding

Recommended Posts

honestly, i had to google 'atv goon riding' and a bunch of links came up for you tube because i had never heard of this before. watched them and formed an opinion.

to me, it's all sport bikes that i personally am not into. watching this, yes i guess there is some entertainment value. however, to be doing this on a weekly or daily basis you probably are independantly wealthy or you live at home with rich parents. i have bought 2 brand new 4x4's and 2 used 4x4's and i treated each one with the same care and respect as the other ones. these guys look as if the bikes are only going to make through that day, so drive the living piss out of them before it's too late. maybe its an age issue or something? anyway, this is just my opinion. i like to take care of my sh**.

sorry if this is or isn't what you wanted to hear.... i'm in a mood... LOL

it wasn't meant to offend in the least, i just watched it like i said and shook my head thinking there would be alot of people that would enjoy a quad and not abuse it. but you're right, this is amerika. at first, the few vids i watched seemed to be taken place in neighborhoods, the brothas on their bitches talkin' crap. i thought then, holy _ _ _ _! LOL gangsta quadders.... then i saw the markfreeman408 uploads. much better LOL anyway, like i said, it wasn't meant to offend, you asked for thoughts and comments, and i'm old and set in my ways... hahahaha

Just aquired this Honda 4514. I had heard of them and seen them but had never really looked at one. Amazing machine from the 90s.
It has a 14 HP inline 2 cylinder engine. A cute little fan like the old school cars had and a little radiator. It has a timing belt on the back of the engine running the cam and a water pump. Just like a miniature car engine with  electronic clutches to turn blades on and off. Pretty hight tech for the 90s not a small thing and built like a tank weighs in at 600 pds hydrostatic trans. I have found out that almost anything you have to do to it the engine has to come out starter timing belt water pump. Very expensive parts i think most got junked for that reason, i did find out they were built by John Deere except for the honda engine.
Does anyone here have any expierience with these.

What are your riding location preferences? Mud Park? Personal Trails? Public Land?
