hi: there is no carberater, issue all lines or new, the carb was takeing apart and cleaned up . and all parts were put in carberater cleaner, overnight and compressed air was used to blow out all the passages. there is no sputter, hesitation, it has very good power and acceleration. i also check out the generater, stater, pulsing coil, when the engine was cold.yes i check for a spark at the spark plug, and the spark seems to be very week its a red spark or no spark at all. thank you very much.

We need more info about the bike. Make, model and year for starters. I am going to say its the cdi unit is bad. You need to refer to the shop manual to test if its ok. Check all grounds and make sure there is absolutley no corossion on any single ground. Make sure they are clean and tight. Test your ignition coil to rule that out. Last i would check ignition switch and engine shutoff switch for corrosion

does it sputter like its not getting gas before it dies? are your fuel lines good, fuel vent lines? when it shuts down, have you pulled the plug to check if there is spark? if it is running hot like that, perhaps the bike is running too lean and this may be a carbuetor problem ...

hi: i checked all the connections, there all clean and tight. the ignition coil, cdi, voltage regulater, were installed new about a year ago. yes i know the spark should bright blue but its a very small red spark. and at times no spark at all, yes i have a multimeter, and a clymer's service manual, i checked the generater, stater coil, and the pulsing coil, when the engine was cold. should i check it when it is hot ?. thank you

hi: i tested the generator, parts today the pick-coil tested 472 ohms cold. and 596 ohms with the engine, warmed-up. the stator tested 0 ohms engine, cold and 0 ohms engine warmed-up. i got 14.7 volts at the battery termenal's. that means the voltage regulator, is good right.? any ideals ? thank you all very much.

hi: yesterday i the it would not start-up. so i pushed in on the stator plug, and the pulsing coil plugin, and after i did this. it started right-up. so i think that i have found the problem. so i am going to just cut the plugs, off and use wire-nuts to reconnect the all of the wires. because the plug ends are all damaged. and won't stay tight anyway. they just wont stay tight enough. thank you so much.

hi: i was wondering why you still think the stator coil, is bad i mean is 0 ohms not good resistance with a cold or warm engine.? the clymers service manual just calls for 1 to 7 ohms resistance. for the stator coil to be good. thank you

me?

well, when my big bear had the stator problem, the spark was very dim but blue and very irregular.

when you said yours was red, i know that is very very weak. you also put on brand new electrical parts, as did the previous owner of the big bear, and was still in the same boat as when he started. the stator generates the spark as you already know, so ruling out everything else electrical, i would have thought it was the stator... ???

you posted earlier that the connections were loose? did that solve the problem with the spark now?

hi: i will test that tomorrow. and find out if i have a blue spark, and repair the wire connections with wire-nuts, so that the connetions will be tight. thank you

Hi all. I have a timberwolf 250 2nd that will not start.. I thought it was out of time bc the guy I got it from said it just quit on him. The tensioner had a nut welded to it and it was like2 teeth off. I installed new tensioner and chain and it still will not start. It has fire and it will not hit off brake cleaner. It has compression. Haven't put a gauge but I'm sure it will crank and run with what it has. I double checked my work and it's still in time. Spot on. Both valves move. I'm about to put a feeler gauge on them and I'll cone back but other than that any ideas?

Yesterday I got a UForce 1000 as my first bike and I am wondering if there are any owners that could advise where I can find budget parts and accessories for it.
I tried looking StarknightMT, but the filtering is a bit unreliable, so direct links or exact names are much appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in sliders and side cases, but any advices for "must haves" are welcomed.
      Thank you!

on my honda trx 500 we have no power to the ignition switch for starting or ignition
we have lights and horn working
      all fuses are fine
have traced through the harness and cant find any broken wires or bad connections
from what we have gathered so far the pgm fi unit is not sending any power to the fuel pump relay to power everything up.
if we put power direct to the ignition switch plug then everything works but wth the key in the off position.
does this sound like a faulty pgm fi unit?

      Hey everyone,
I’m having an issue with my 2021 Polaris Sportsman 570 – the engine keeps stalling after running for about 10–15 minutes. I’ve checked the air filter, spark plug, and fuel lines, but can’t seem to find the root of the problem. It starts up just fine, but then loses power suddenly.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue with this model/year? Would appreciate any advice or troubleshooting tips you’ve tried that worked. Thanks in advance for your help!

      Hey everyone,
I'm seriously considering a CFMOTO 600 Touring but keep hearing mixed feedback about parts and dealer support depending on where you live.
Before I pull the trigger, I'd love to hear from actual owners:
      - How long do parts usually take if your dealer doesn't stock them?
      - Have you had any warranty work done? Was it smooth or a headache?
      - Does your dealer provide decent service, or are you stuck doing everything yourself?
The value proposition is hard to ignore - seems like you get 30% more features for the money compared to the Big 3. But I'm trying to figure out if the potential service headaches are worth the upfront savings.
Would love to hear real-world experiences, especially from owners 2+ years in. What should a potential buyer know before committing?
