A prob I had last week was my 07 Rancher 420 just stalled one day while driving and it started back up no prob but missing like crazy when I try moving. I shut it off for a few mins and it was fine then started it again once it got warm again. It hardly moves when this happens. Seems like when it cools down its fine. What should I check? Hasnt done it everytime but would like to figure it out. Where is the fuel filter located? Thanks

Well kinda sounds like both. It will idle but you can tell it's missing. When i try to give it gas it will stall. What should i check the coil for? Do plugs foul a lot? It will start no prob during this. Thanks

Don't know whether you got it fixed or not, but mine was doing the same thing. It would run ok with the choke engaged. I replaced the carburetor and it fixed the problem.

I have a 2009 Honda Rancher TRX420FA with shifting problems.
Usually it shifts ok when cold but after couple minutes it will stop shifting with no codes.
The 1st shift clutch oil pressure when in first gear is 74psi. The 2nd shift clutch oil pressure when in second gear is 74psi.
The 1st shift clutch oil pressure when in neutral is zero. The problem is when the tranny is in neutral the 2nd shift clutch pressure starts around 10-15psi and builds to 20psi. Is this normal?

I have (2) sets of brand new plastics available for Honda Rancher 420 2014-2023. These are genuine genuine OEM Honda plastics. One set is white and the other set is green. The boxes these are in are too big to ship.(Unless you want to pay for it. If so, lookup your own shipping rates from 17325 and box size is 58"x35"x18").  $400

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

Ok recently got a "what i believe" is a 2003 rancher 4x4.   I believe it is a 350te. Obviously a project. Wire harness was in bad shape.
Reconnecting wiring harness. Have one harness that does not match...... the end or front side of the harness has this harness. .... appears to be the one that connects to the dash./ LED indicators... The only wires (indicators) that I can find that does not have a match to the main harness connection. These 2 harnesses do not appear to go together . it appear the harness or dash cluster were changed and don't match. Dash/indicator light wire harness was cut off. Attaching pics of both connections. Is there a way to make this work or do I need to buy a new harness or cluster?
