Scrambler 400 (x 2)

I bought 2 Scrambler 400 4x4's Saturday. 1 is complete (my wifes) that dies and won't stay running. The other one had a bearing issue in the trans... The PO decided to attempt and fix it himself. All I have is a quad with a motor and the rest of the parts in a bucket... My question is, do I have my mechanic attempt to put in all back together or just keep it for parts?

Dropped Scrambler #1 off to my mechanic. He is going to go through the carb and check compression. I will be dropping off the "basket-case" quad when I pick up quad #1... He will be able to re-assemble with all the parts I showed him!

      91 quadrunner lt4wd shifting issue

      After i did my rebuild it seems to not want to shift well. I think the cable is alright, and when it does shift its nice and solid. I have to basically use my hand to shift and i have to pull or push it very far, like max travel, to get it to shift. I also tried adjusting the clutch set screw. Any ideas where to go next, or maybe i should just grab a new cable to try.

      was thinking most of us on this forum would have another ride, so to get the ball rolling...........
      MY MAX 4 6X6 2009, now this will actually go anywhere including across the water. In the 3rd photo I had gone up the river about 30 meters then climbed up the bank, 6X6 owners call it "swimming"

      Fuel issue

      I am having an issue with a hs500. I bought it broken and have been trying to get it running. It seems to be starving for fuel. If I put my hand over the intake it will crank but will not run for very long because I'm not able to get the correct airflow with my hand. The things I have done so far are. Replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, mass airflow sensor, idle air adjuster, fuel injector, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the ecu, and still the same issue. I notice the injector does not spray when removed from the head. I dont know if that is common. 
       
      I am out of ideas on what to do next. I have removed the fuel line from the injector and it is getting plenty of fuel. If anyone has an idea on what could possibly be the issue I would be happy to try anything at this point.

      Bell Crank Orentation 2000 Polaris Scrambler 400 2x4

      Does anyone know  the orientation of the bell crank for scrambler 400 2x4 it was not hooked up when I bought quad the way  i put it high goes into reverse and vise versa I flipped it 180 but that put  the shift rod at big angle and it just kinda grinds into gears so dnt think that is right either pretty sure it has to be the exact orientation and the rod adjusted accordingly but I cant seem to find it anyone knows please help
