Been sittin 6 months. Put in fresh gas and it started but soon noticed fuel running out on floor. Removed carb and cleaned. Did not see any problem. Remove fuel tank, drain and gas looked clean. Put carb back on and had to keep choke pulled out to run and pops thru carb a little when give throttle. Install aftermarket kit, clean again and it does same thing. I cleaned and used old jet as not sure ones in kit correct. Spark plug does not look fouled. Any direction given will be greatly appreciated. Newbe to ATV but can follow advice and decent mechanic on some stuff.

the little passages inside the carb need to be clear, and an easy way to do it is with a stripped twist tie from a garbage bag. an air compressor would be perfect to get everything out too (with carb cleaner of course). the needle and seat has to be near perfect, too sloppy-> it'll leak and too tight-> it won't flow. cheriah is the carb queen, and a member here. message her and she'll tell you some tricks too.

Thanks for the quick reply. I cleaned with carb cleaner and compressed air. I will try the small wire in a few days when I can work on it again. One guy suggested it might be a stuck valve. What are your thoughts on this?

If it still leaks past the float needle, take a Q-Tip with some brass polish or something like crest toothpaste, put the Q-Tip in your cordless drill and lightly polish float valve seat for about 45-60 seconds. Use carb cleaner and spray off polish and use compressed air to get it all out. I have done this on carbs that looked ready for the trash.

Hisun 700 EFI. Replaced TMAP sensor had broken off . Fuel pump pressure 41psi. The only way I can keep it running (and runs fine) is to close off fuel return line.

This thing came with a cheap aftermarket carb on it the problem I'm having is it won't start with choke installed into carburetor it will start and get run without it installed then bogs out after about 2 min run time I've checked timing , compression, checked valves for proper clearance , also did a smoke test for air leaks found none.

I’m having a issue with my choke when its on it runs fine when I cut the choke off the atv cuts off went to take the carburetor off and saw the choke plunger broke at the nut to screw it in could this be my issue? Do I just need to buy a plunger kit and put it on? I took the carburetor off and cleaned both jets anyway just to make sure and it’s still having issues staying on

hi im new to this but have done oil drains on my dirt bike

but I took wrong drain bolt out of my quad.: Ive emotied the gear box oil and what appears to be my chain tensioner part. Drained oil out both plugs thinking it was my engine oil!!

I’ve refilled the gear oil from a oil point and not the engine oil as I’ve done that through the dipstick refill point… im just really worried about the oil that came out the tensioner part .. will there be a refill point for that separate from gear oil refill. Ives struggled for 4 days for information and goung round the bend..  Chinese quad is a 10ten 180 RXR
please if someone could answer this as I’m worried to run the quad until I’m sure I don’t need to find another fill point for the tensioner part ?
