Finally solved the carb problem after removing it a number of times. I cleaned every part except the center hole in the pilot jet. That's why I had so much trouble with the choke and high idle. The quad now starts first pull, idles up a little and goes to low idle after it warms up. I checked all the other carbs that I have and every one of the pilot jet center holes were plugged solid. I used a fine torch tip cleaner to unplug them. Thanks for the reply and info. I now have the Mikuni carb schematic on file. Will post some pictures, once I get the body work done.

I hadn't driven my Kodiak for a two months, and since it was low on fuel, the first thing I did was filled it up to maybe 7/8 full. Getting ready to start it, I rotated the fuel selector switch to "on" and within seconds I smelled and saw fuel dripping onto the floor. I quickly turned it off and the fuel gradually stopped - I can repeat this.
The fuel is flowing from the hose that is connected to the bottom of the carb, and routes around to the left side toward the wheel well. Any idea what's going on here? It ran fine the last time I had it out.
      Thanks...

Hey all got a Kawasaki 300 that's seen better days I'm looking to get running.  But first, I'm working on a Honda 350 ES and mainly needing where are you all finding quality parts at good prices.  Atvs are really hot items around here right now and most of the folks wanting and needing them are not familiar with working on them.  I'm looking to find a good resource for information and if it works out well pass this group along to the folks I help to get them in the know how to get the most out of their machines.  Thanks in advance.
