I'm trying to replace the a arm bearings on my son's 02 300ex and I can't seem to get the clip ring (or stopper ring as Honda calls it) out... I tried retaining clip removers, mini needle nose pliers a set of picks and I even tried banging them out and nothing... The ring has no room for expansion or anything... Anyone have any ideas?? All help is appreciated, I'd rathe not have to pay to bring it to a shop. This is driving me crazy... Please help he's bugging to go riding.

Thanks in advance,

Carl

a good pair of c-clip pliers will do it. i wrestled with those clips alot too. i stormed off one day and i paid 60+$ and got a good pair with different "pins" you can change up via allen/hex key lockers.

Mine had the "pins" or teeth to remove, not the whole plier end.

Yeah I finally got the one out so I figured why take the other clip on the other side out. I got the bearing out and now the new ones won't go in. I got one bearing in and now the others won't go. I broke a c clamp trying to get the others in. I can't find a c clamp that I can use an impact wrench on instead of the twist kind... Any ideas?? I can't find a bearing press small enough and cheap enough even at harbor freight... Thanks in advance for the help

I got one on with a c clamp after cranking the hell out of it with a vise grip, but then ruined the clamp and about 6 others on the second one and it's still not going in. I even tried a pulley puller and an impact gun and wrench and it snapped the puller in half... Yes it has a through hole, but the ball joint won't come off the a arm so I can't set it on the ground and bang away on it... Here's a picture of the bearing

Looking for two stock front wheels for 92 TRX300 2WD.   I think they are 6 x11" size.

on my honda trx 500 we have no power to the ignition switch for starting or ignition
we have lights and horn working
      all fuses are fine
have traced through the harness and cant find any broken wires or bad connections
from what we have gathered so far the pgm fi unit is not sending any power to the fuel pump relay to power everything up.
if we put power direct to the ignition switch plug then everything works but wth the key in the off position.
does this sound like a faulty pgm fi unit?

Hey everyone, I just picked up a 91 trx350 4x4 with a blown top end. I don't know what happened to the poor thing but the cam journals that were round are oval shaped now. I also bought a running engine from a 92 trx350 4x4 to swap into the 91. Is there anything in particular I should be checking while the engine is out and I have good access to it and the frame?

I recently noticed my Fourtrax 2WD has 4WD wheels installed on the front.  The back spacing is significantly different than 2WD wheels and they are almost touching the strut springs and the tires actually do touch the springs..   So far, no luck locating 2WD wheels to correct this issue.
