1998 Polaris Sportsman 500 - Over Heating Help Needed!

Guys,

I took my quad out for the first real run since I bought it for my kids, and the temp light came on and coolant was releasing out of the over flow bottle/tank. As I would speed up, I could get the light to go away, but as soon as I slow down, it comes back on. Heres the deal:

The fan doesnt turn on until the temp light just about comes on or is on

Here are the things ive done or checked:

1) Radiator fins are clear of debris/mud

2) Thermostat replaced

3) Head gasket replaced

4) New thermo switch

5) Radiator "burped" of air

Anyone have any thoughts? Would a radiator cap at 15lbs instead of 13lbs cause an issue?

      99 Bear tracker no neutral or reverse light or start button

      Just getting into this issue really. Been replacing solenoids but now I'd like to track down the problem. This time I'm not getting neutral/reverse lights or start button. Was on a creek ride when it started doing this recently. It cranks by arcing the solenoid and gives me no light or start button but if I crank with the pull cord....the neutral light and the button work. Turn it off and try to crank with the key and nothing. I'm looking into the safety switch issue tomorrow and re charging the battery. Just figured this was odd enough of a problem that you guys might be familiar. Thanks

      Hi guys, I was given a 2000 Honda Recon fourtrax 250 (I think that's the full name lol). The previous owner had it sitting for a while before I got it. It sat for another few years in my ownership. I got it up and going on its first test drive today!! I was wondering where everyone buys their parts from?  Coming from the car community, we have sites like RockAuto and many more. Anything like that for quads? Also would like to be pointed in a direction, if possible, for plastics. I am missing a few and would like to have it complete. I appreciate any input!

      Big bear 400 new stator reverse light stays on

      Replaced stator now red reverse light stays on in all forward gears and when neutral light in on 
      When put in reverse the light goes out
      any ideas how to correct

      98 Polaris Magnum 425 4x4 speed limiter advice needed.

      I suspect this bike may have a bad speed limiter. The part number for is 4060204. I found this one on ebay but it has a part number that is 1 number different. (4060203). It has the same LR44-2 and says its for a 94 Magnum 425. Will this one work on my machine or do I absolutely have to have the 4060204? Your advice would be appreciated. Thank you
