Hi all I am new to the forum and am in need of some info from members that know more than I do ( that should not be hard ) I have a 2000 Kodiak 4x4 and a friend was using it to do some work around his place and broke a front shock now I am trying to find a replacement on ebay and am not sure what year range will work and if 4X4 or 2X4 is different thank for any help with this

first, nice play on words LOL ...

i looked on bike bandit, went back to 98 and ahead to 2001, and it looks like they are different shocks for each year. don't know why ???

i think the 4x4 shocks are a littler heavy duty for the weight of the bike ...

broke at the mounting ring, thanks for the info I am learning that a lot of parts differ from year to year i got a muffler from a 1999 and the mounting tabs would mot line up

yea those breaks suck ! We have ATV and motorcycle salvage yards around here ! Are there any out there ?

can anyone give me specs on length and mounting hole size on earlier and later years so I see what else might work. The range of what I have is 2000 thru 2002. I cant find used shocks my year range so I will look for what else will work. Thanks for all replies.

      Quad to pull flail mower - Eiger, Kodiak, Big Bear ?

      Is looking for a quad to pull a flail mower as my first priority, but also a bit of fun. 
      So its going to be pulling a flail mower on high grass / weed on a bumpy field at pretty low speed. 
      My budget is not high, so is mostly looking at a old Yamaha Kodiak 400cc / Suzuki Eiger 400cc or similar. 
      What machine would you recommend  ?  - Really want a solid machine since I am no mechanic but can perform a early service myself. 

      (English is not my native, hope it makes sense)

      I am missing a cdi box for my 1988 Suzuki quadrunner LT 4WD is there a rplacement box that i can wire into this bike to get it back running beings that the cdi box is no longer made

      Just picked up this 2025 Kodiak 700 esp and was wondering if anyone has any suggestion on up grades i should look into  ?? I did a EPI clutch upgrade and put bigger tires on it but want to do more !!
