Hi I have a 1998 Kodiak 400 that locked up the bottom end. 2 actually....

I am looking for used engines or parts and I have run into some questions. The local shop isn't so helpful.

What years are the same? I have a 2002 400cc motor in a box already.

Could a 350cc from the same year bolt in there? I have a wrecked one in hiding out back.

I work on a ranch we have several of these monsters. All have a shton of miles on them. These things are easy to work on and work with. We plow with them. Maintain power lines and fences from them. Any info would be really helpful..

Thanks

the 350s and 400s are the same block, the 400 has a longer stroke. i would assume yamaha didnt change the motor mounts, but dont quote me ... looking on the parts list, a kodiak in the year 1996 to 1998 uses the same frame, the 350s used a different frame ... i would say take some measurements and cross your fingers. the connectors will probably be different from different years/bikes too ... im sure you will run into a few mods you have to do along the way ...

I'd imagine that the cylinder head mount is a different size but the driveshafts should be in the right place and bolt up. Run the 350 carb and wiring/cdi.

Yesterday I got a UForce 1000 as my first bike and I am wondering if there are any owners that could advise where I can find budget parts and accessories for it.
I tried looking StarknightMT, but the filtering is a bit unreliable, so direct links or exact names are much appreciated.
I'm mostly interested in sliders and side cases, but any advices for "must haves" are welcomed.
      Thank you!

      Hey everyone,
I'm seriously considering a CFMOTO 600 Touring but keep hearing mixed feedback about parts and dealer support depending on where you live.
Before I pull the trigger, I'd love to hear from actual owners:
      - How long do parts usually take if your dealer doesn't stock them?
      - Have you had any warranty work done? Was it smooth or a headache?
      - Does your dealer provide decent service, or are you stuck doing everything yourself?
The value proposition is hard to ignore - seems like you get 30% more features for the money compared to the Big 3. But I'm trying to figure out if the potential service headaches are worth the upfront savings.
Would love to hear real-world experiences, especially from owners 2+ years in. What should a potential buyer know before committing?
