I love the 09 450 King Quad I just got. However the racks are anemic. I just happen to have a spare vintage (91-98) KQ rear rack and noticed the front frame attach struts are the same distance apart. Then the gears in my head started turning.

I drilled holes through the side of the struts on the spare rack. Cut out a T-bar from a scrap bumper from a vintage KQ for the back attach point. Now I have a man size rack on my machine.

Looks good! That's one thing I miss is not having a rack & rack bag. I want to add the rear grab bar that holds a 6 pack cooler to my LT-Z400 so I will have drinks & a snack while riding. Its not fun when my sugar drops while riding.

Thanks. I painted it with rustoleum black texture. I really like having the side rails. Much easier to secure my gear box and spare gas can to.

My emergency ration kit contains vodka for the blood sugar boost.

I agree that brand of spray paint holds up well. Better on frame sections than racks. The racks get a lot of scraping because of bungies and cargo sliding on it. Of course with any paint work the key is in the prep. Sand and clean really well. I use 4-5 coats on a cargo rack.

Looking for two stock front wheels for 92 TRX300 2WD.   I think they are 6 x11" size.

Hello everyone, I have a 92 honda trx350 I just picked up that has a bent section of the frame where the rear of the seat would clip into place. It almost looks like a tree or something heavy fell on it. Its a fairly deep bend, if that makes sense. It like a V instead of straight. What are peoples goto methods for straightening a section like that?

I recently noticed my Fourtrax 2WD has 4WD wheels installed on the front.  The back spacing is significantly different than 2WD wheels and they are almost touching the strut springs and the tires actually do touch the springs..   So far, no luck locating 2WD wheels to correct this issue.

Hi, I am new to this forum I am currently working on my 1989 Yamaha front end.  The cv axles were bad so I changed them on both sides with all new wheel bearings. Now I'm looking at the front brakes and the 2 cylinders for the brake shoes on both sides do not work at all. I am also new at working on brakes so its a mystery to me what needs to be done to fix the cylinders.  Can somebody please help me with these brake issues? See the image below.
      Thank you,
      Olchap
