Hello,

My son has an 05 or 06 200cc quad. Not sure of the manufacturer. The only markings or on the

crankcase that reads Cobra 200cc. The rear wheels are locked and we would like to find a service manual or manufacturer to order parts. Thanks

Find the vin number and use on online decoder to figure out what it is. Usually stamped on a frame strut.

Not trying to be rude but can you be a little more specific,such as a reliable site or link that would cut thru all the bs as i have the same problem only i have 7 of them to restore? thanx

most Chinese crapATVs (I had two and fixed them every 2 rides so sold them) are Honda or Polaris knockoffs. mostly interchangeable parts. look at pics of Honda or Polaris models to see which one your looks like most. Then buy off brand parts for the Honda or Polaris model.

      Hi, I have been around everything with a motor since I was little, and finally purchased more to get my husband, and kids involved. I have 4 quads I will be searching around for information on. I have two 2002 Suzuki LT80K quads, a 1997 Yamaha Timberwolf 250, and a 1996 Kawasaki Bayou 220. I have had different ones throughout the years, and plan on buying another Yamaha Banshee. I plan on trying to learn more about all of them, so I can customize some of them. I know nothing about them besides how to race them, my dad always took care of the rest, but figured it was time for me to learn.

      Oxidized or faded plastic body parts

      I recently read an article about restoring or at least improving the looks of faded and discolored plastic body parts. In the article it suggested using a 50/50 mixture of boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. You mix it up and apply it with a brush or rag to rub it in and remove the oxidation. I curious to find out if anyone has had experience with doing this and what was their short/long term results of doing so. I would hate to try it and find out that a few weeks/months down the road my plastic body parts self destruct.
