  1. I would stay the same, definately don't go smaller though if you ride on rocky terrain, you won't wan't to loose any clearance, taller tires may make the bike seem a little sluggish, but you would have a higher top speed, also it may be prone to wheelies where the smaller tires would spin. Also for the rocks the more plies the better.

  2. The whole reason for banning the two stoke is the pollution issue, what I don't understand is that many two stroke outboards use a direct fuel injection, this way there is no unburnt fuel being pushed out of the exhaust port, this not only increases efficiency, it decreases pollutants. So why don't manufacturers just use this design instead of getting rid of them all together? Direct injected two strokes are lighter, faster, more efficient and less polluting than 4-strokes.

  3. I think, and don't take this the wrong way, that the 4-stroke is for the less intense, the ubridled and un-predictable nature of the 2-stroke is meant for those who crave balls out power. I have ridden the best that both worlds have to offer, and I contend that 4-strokes will never equal the snap and responsiveness of a 2-stroke.

  4. Thanks MWKE and Dirt Demon. MWKE that is a sweet bike. Dirt that is a killer bike. I can't imagine the power.

Thanks, lots of hard work invested in it, and it definately has plenty of power. The only complaint I have is the vibration, I am going to do some motor work in the next few months;porting, shaved head, bigger carb, a custom pipe, and a new crank that I will send in to have balanced, hopefuly that takes care of the problem.

  5. Accidentaly posted originally in some one elses thread, so I thought I would move it out here. Anyways, hello every one, my name is Josh, I love riding and anything else to do with the ATV world, here are some pics of my bike. It's a TRX500R, the frame is hand made and super strong so it can handle the CR500 motor and all the abuse I put it through. Holding up well so far and it is fast as hell, I love it.
