  3. sorry for the small amount of info, yes it is in the pocono mountains i checked trail pass and they gave me the info i was just curious if they allow jeeps on the trails and if there are any camp grounds near that you can drive to with you atv?

Is just ATV's at this time

  4. Lost Trails is a pretty good place to ride with around 45 miles of trails and a sand pit, hitting it up this weekend with a few friends myself..

    Chris

On trail pass i read about this place in pa called the "lost trail" and i am very interested in going but i just want to make sure it is open. If it is a good place to ride? Are jeeps aloud to drive on it, or just atvs?
  5. Where are you located?? I could find a place down this way who would do it.. Lower Hudson valley

yeah we called a few today and they say they are to busy to work on stuff like this. Also i think it will cost more to have it machined than it would to buy a frame, still weighing our options though.
  6. Are there any machine shops, and or race car builders in your area? They should be able to help you and resolve the problem one way or another.. and or a welding and steel fabrication shop

    Chris

Things arent looking good for my frame. The steering bearing retainer nut wont budge despite efforts made by machine shops , garages with impact wrenches, and our own efforts causing us to break a 1/2 inch breaker bar and a socket wrench. SOOOOO it appears i am goin to need a new frame. so the ebay search has started. :aargh::aargh::aargh: I have gotten discouraged beyond belief but i know my honey will help me as much as he can, i think his encouragment is dwindled as well. I was sooo excited about this quad and now it just seems it has caused me more stress than it has fun. BUT when its done its gonna be my baby.

The only way to save the frame is to cut the bolt out risking ruining the threads, in which case we would be welding a new bolt in and hopin that we dont need to replace the bearing ever again, i will keep u all updated. :aargh::aargh::aargh::no::no:

Some days i just drive around all day looking at land which is pretty much like site seeing and hiking.

  8. Pretty much anything electrical has a mini computer in it these days and all the relay boards are pretty much made overseas... So just seeing where it was assembled and even when it says made in USA does not mean all components are. Even so there are many companies who are owned by foreign companies which then the money goes back to the parent company. Sam Walton just lived the American Dream by building on the largest companies in the world, they are also the largest employer in the USA.

    About who goes to Wal-Mart

Each week, about 100 million customers, nearly one-third of the US population, visit Wal-Mart's US stores. Wal-Mart customers give low prices as the most important reason for shopping there, reflecting the "Low prices, always" advertising slogan that Wal-Mart used from 1962 until 2006. The average US Wal-Mart customer's income is below the national average, and analysts recently estimated that more than one-fifth of them lack a bank account, twice the national rate. A Wal-Mart financial report in 2006 also indicated that Wal-Mart customers are sensitive to higher utility costs and gas prices.

I am neither pro or anti Wal-Mart, they are just doing what everyone wants them to do, the demand for them is there and proven so by their sheer size.

Jay Nordlinger of National Review argues that Wal-Mart is attacked simply because it is a leader of the Fortune 500 list or the largest employer in America, and a "free-market success story". Penn & Teller devoted an episode of their show to an analysis of Wal-Mart criticism as a social movement. They theorized that despite the noble rhetoric, the real motivation of "Wal-Mart haters" was rooted in human psychology. They suggested that hating Wal-Mart permits a person "to feel better about themselves" for three main reasons: They "don't run a greedy international conglomerate", they aren't Wal-Mart workers, widely considered "low-skilled, minimum wage drones", and they aren't Wal-Mart customers thought of as "toothless, welfare-getting hillbillies". Wal-Mart stores are unionized in every country outside of North America

I am neither pro or anti Wal-Mart, they are just doing what everyone wants them to do, the demand for them is there and proven so by their sheer size.

So Wal-Mart and Microsoft are perfect examples of the American dream come true and just do to the nature of their size will always have foes.
