  1. I was about 18 before a dummy on a bike broke several bones for me, on me. Not very happy. He actually came out the worst, and deserved it!

He was riding on the inside of a blind LH turn [my side] downhill, drunk, wearing gym shorts and flipflops, let's see, did I leave anything STUPID out? I dont think so haha I'm coming up the turn at speed, leaned into the inside. All I had time to do was lay it down on the RH footpeg.

cost him a broken ankle and several foot bones, plus lh wrist. cost me all the top knuckles on my left hand and sprained my left ankle. Actually broke the sole of my boot in half, length wise- I've never seen it before or since...

heads of knuckle tend to appear when you least expect them!

that was at my beloved Saddleback Park, long since gone now I am told, like my second favorite place. Indian Dunes. those were the days. :dammit:

    ouch......

  2. Thanks for comments...I did check the oil before this happened and it was actually a little below the full line. After the incident, I waited until it cooled and it checked about the same.

Also, I was riding wheelies on it a few hours before the oil spit out...but when it happened I had driven about 3 miles at 25mph on flat surfaces.

i dont think that would make a difference

  3. I wouldn't recommend a 450 for a girl who races. The 400 can be built to run with the 450s at top speed. Through 3rd gear the 400ex will hang no problem. The 400 also has reverse which is HUGE in Harscrambles. If you get yourself stuck on the 450, it often takes ALOT of upper body strength to lift out of the mud or get off a rock. The 400 you can USUALLY back out of a sticky situation.

    no reverse on the 450?????
