  1. Everything else is as follows. And maybe Mike can verify. Quads must have adequate mufflers. Nothing crazy loud but a performance exhaust would be fine. Helmets and goggles and boots is a must. Any other protection is as you see fit. Take out what you bring in because who wants to ride with trash on the ground. And simply respect the land. It's not ours and who wants to be banned from a place then ruin it for everyone else.

  2. Been completely gone thru and replaced alot of the parts. It runs and drives like it should. Only reason I'm selling it is because, I bought I for my kid and he doesn't know how to behave long enough to keep it for him. Does include a brand new helmet. Size extra small adult. 93785fb09c151b4e65b2b5574e2a70f5.jpg

  3. I've been in both worlds from the trails to mx. The 250r is a fun bike. It really depends on what you want. I know my banshee is tough in the trails but hell of a good time wide open in the dunes. But my kfx isn't as good for the dunes but fun in the trails.

I have a wife similar to yours. She doesn't ride but supports my decision. I just bring the kid with me. She can't say much then. Lol.

  4. I know it is possible to live in a tent. Year round too. I do have solar panels for electric and a shower bag that's heated by the sun. Where can one go to do this. I have M.S and can't take this N.Y. crap. I need out. My family won't be coming with me. They are financially set for the rest of their lives.

Again. Where can one go that's climate steady and friendly to my disability

  5. A plug chop goes like this. Get a few spark plugs and put them in your pocket along with the socket or wrench. Start your quad and get it warm. Take it for a ride and when your almost to your house, run it full throttle for like 30 seconds to a minute. Then shut it off while your still full throttle. Coast to a stop. Take out the spark plug and look at it. If it's black and wet, then it's to rich. If it's dry and white. It's to lean. Do this a few times to get it really close.

  6. Well I got a small flat blade screwdriver now to adjust the mix but something is not right.  At a certain point I seem to get a lot of white smoke (odd as reading about that most answers refer to coolant mixing in - this is air cooled!)  Anyway, if I run it full throttle it bogs down or just runs rough - it seems to lack power, just seems to run out of steam and I can't get it to run smooth.....
Run a plug chop to confirm your on point with tuning you carb. Sometimes that's the only way to tell.

  7. Dumb question. My kids quad idles right and revs fine in neutral. Put it in gear with my weight and it backfires. I know to adjust the air fuel mixture but to what? I lean It, it backfires. I richen It, it backfires. And just about everything in between. I'm about to test the stator and coil to see if I'm losing spark. No air leaks anywhere and compression checks out fine.

  8. Sometimes the float gets stuck or more junk is still in there. Check the needle for ware on the float. Also where the needle is on the slide where it goes into the bowl, there is a gasket o ring that's on the bottom of the needle seat. Wiring I know how to do. It's easier to do it than explain it.
