  1. I used to fire about 1000 rounds of that stuff a week. After seeing what that stuff could do, I would S#&T myself if that happened to me. His head would have exploded like a watermellon if that actually hit him
  2. It's apart at the moment to change the axles and suspension set up. It is sitting on Dana 60s, 6 inches of lift with a lot of trimming. 302 that just died on me, NP 435. 5.89 gears, 42" Swampers and Hummer Beadlocks
  3. I haul mine with an 03 F-350 7.3 4 door lariet. I have a 69 Bronco on 42" Swampers that I play with too. I needed something that wouldn't have an issue towing the Bronco. It doesn't even feel a trailer full of quads behind it lol
  4. I use one where it's required and some places that it's not. It's always on in the dunes (broke it earlier in the day in my pic) and on if I'm riding in an area where I can come up over a hill and get hit from somone coming the other way. The only place that I don't use it is in the woods. I got mine at a local shop in Vegas for about 14-15 bucks. It's just a plain flag with their logo on it
  5. I'll check that out when I get home. I may also pull the airbox lid and see if that helps
  6. I need to check the needle setting. I just pulled the carb apart and cleaned everything. Like a dumb as*, I didn't write any of the settings or jet sizes down before I reassembled it. I'll check the plug again too. I just went and replaced it when I bought the quad Just out of curiosity, what should the compression read? I just want to check it.
  7. It's a 2001. What should the compression read? I have a tester just not a damn manual ! Anyone know where there is one online? Thanks for the info on the airbox lid. This thing is in great shape. It just annoys the crap out of me that I can't get it in tune My KFX seems to do fine at this altitude, just minor tweeking
  8. Hello, my name is Jim and I'm an........... Sorry, wrong forum:twitsy: Just wanted to say hey to everyone. I ride an 04 KFX400
  9. Thanks for the help. I'll take the carb off and check the jet sizes. It seems to be leaning out and falling flat on the top end. What part of Mass are you from? I grew up in Haverhill
  10. Sorry I wasn't clear. I was talking about the mixture screw. I was wondering what teh factory setting is
  11. OK, I bought a blaster for my wife. It's in great shape but it falls flat early on top end. It seems the worst in 1st and 2nd gear. As you get up through the gears it seems to be a bit better. I have pulled the carb and cleaned it. It didn't help at all. Can anyone tell me what the stock jet sizes are? Also, what should the mixture settings be for a bone stock Blaster? I am at 5000 feet in New Mexico If anyone knows another reason, please speak up.
