    only mods i had when my local atv shop checked my compression what yosh pipe, moose racing jet kit, k and n filter. the guys that checked for me have been doing it a long time so i trust them. we just finished re-jetting and took air box lid off, exhast cam mod, removed spark arrester, and am waiting on rev box and 15 tooth front sprocket. we checked the compression because we couldn't get the jetting right and thought maybe a valve had messed up. have since gotten the jetting right though.

    had my compression checked and was about 170 lbs. you think i should run higher than 91octane?

    thanks for the advice guys. have do the cam mod and waiting for 15 tooth front sprocket to come in. will soon be getting ported and polished head with cp piston and fuel customs intake. i'll let ya'll know how it goes. thanks again

    which cdi box is best for 2005 yfz 450? so many to choose from.

    thanks. what is a CDI? my wallet's good enough to do whatever but i want to start with the cheapest and easiest things first. i'm learning to do most of the work my self.

    i've tried that. turned it all the way out. same result.

    i have a 2005 yfz 450. yosh exhuast, k and n filter, moose jet kit. what is the next thing i should do to get more power?

    i own a 2005 yfz 450 and i think it's running lean. when i get 3/4 to wide open it misses or cuts out. i have a k and n filter, yosh exhaust sytem and is jetted with a moose racing jet kit. main jet is dj132, pilot jet is dpjm048 and needle is set on #4. the fuel aire mixture screw was 1 and a 1/2 turns out but now 2 turns. spark plug is white. what should i do now?
