There seems to be something missing in the rear fenders ,some sort of support or something? There is channels for it from under the seat to the edge of fenders

What is the aluminum tank in front of the engine for ? Is it some sort of dry sump?

Thanks for the add. Just picked up my 1st quad, been riding and fixing sleds and bikes most of my life , just never had a quad before.
