polaris 2008 50 outlaw automatic: got the 50 for free. would only run with chock on, replaced the carburator with new. I can't get the unit to an idle where the machine doesn't move forward. if I do get it to idle down within a few moments it will die. got something to try?

I have an 08 Outlaw 525 that starts up no issues but after a few minutes will begin to idle high and then just shuts off. Checked my air boots to the carb and everything looks fine. Oddly I jumped in it and drove it no issues but stopped to park it and it again high idled. Here’s what it sounded like but didn’t shut off after riding it this time

There seems to be something missing in the rear fenders ,some sort of support or something? There is channels for it from under the seat to the edge of fenders

I tested the tps and I'm getting 4.28v at closed throttle and goes down to 1v or so full throttle. I can't find a service manual does anyone know if 4.28v is close to correct

What is the aluminum tank in front of the engine for ? Is it some sort of dry sump?

I have an Outlaw 110 that will struggle to turn the engine over. Jump starting doesn't help other than the battery will drain LONG before the bike eventually starts, so is required. If you keep messing with it long enough it will eventually magically begin to crank fine and sometimes finally start. Once we finally get the bike to start and warm it up thoroughly, it will turn over and start just fine the rest of the day like nothing ever happened... next day it won't turn over again. Internet research has found lots of people saying they replaced starters, starter clutch, wiring, etc. but with only about 50/50 success rate for their particular problems... and I never found anybody describing a problem like mine, so I'm looking for advice/experience. Would rather not just start blindly throwing parts at it. Does anybody have any thoughts/ideas?

Hi I have a 2007 Polaris outlaw 525 irs and am trying to replace the needle bearings in the rear a arms. I was wondering how you go about getting the rubber seal and bearing out!?

Is there anything I can do to make this little quad go faster? Thank you

I’m am trying to figure out how to set this to tdc so I can set the valves. Anyone know the procedure?

i noticed today while my son was riding when he lets off the gas smokes comes out the muffler it does not smell like oil but almost like a paper bruning smell it only has like maybe 5 hours one it what could that smoke be from it does when he running and has the gas down and the lets off

I am looking into getting a Polaris outlaw, for sure i am able to get the 2006 model but I am working with the dealer on a great deal for a 2007 525 one. Does any one own one? Can I have any information from owners of one and how they like it, pros and cons... How is the IRS?
