Hey guys thanks for all the help, finally talked to someone who had a definate answer from ATV Direct and confirming as I found out by cross checking oem parts at BikeBandit.com unfortunatly the Warn 424 is not compatible with the Kodiak. Oh well Dad is just going to have a keep a little extra psi in the fronts.

Thanks for the help. Warn has discontinued this part in 2008 but I will shop around and see if I can find one.

Hi All. I'm wondering if anybody has heard of a conversion kit for a 1996 Kodiac 400 so that I may be able to switch from the constant 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive and back to 4 wheel when required. Thanks Blaine
