I have a 1999 Yamaha big bear 350. I am able to get to start up and idle just fine. However when I go to shift into gear it will jolt forward and move slowly on its on but when I give it throttle it will not engage or move. Any Ideas will be helpful

I have a 1992 Polaris 350l that's been sitting for quite a few years. I have gotten it to start and move but has a rough idle and won't start back up after getting warm.
