hydro dip would be best way to go for camo ... hitches are good to go with most any machine, the grizz might look like it wont accept one, but it will ... warn is best there is IMHO ...

reed valves too ... if they are tapered or split

1 - probably most anything from Japan 350 and up ... Honda is best workhorse
2 - very expensive for power steering add on ... bikes are quite light, once they start to roll it is easy steering ... my son started out @ 8 years old running a Honda 350 in full time 4 and could thread that machine thru a needle ...
3 - the 700 hr mark on the machine is usually overhaul time, mileage means nothing to hours ...

there is no tranny fluid in the bike, just atv motor oil .... what you saw in the boot was old grease that was packed in there ... the same grease for the front/rear axle shafts ... you can probably get a "split" boot to put back on to avoid dismantling the drive-shaft ... whatever route you go, it needs to be sealed

probably bad corrosion at solenoid to starter ...

could be dirty contacts inside the start button, some come apart some dont .... sand or use contact cleaner ... could also be a bad solenoid ....

Usually the shaft looks like it will slip right out but it does have a C-clip(s) holding it in ...
