  1. cool- next ride change mount and views a few times to add to video. Also, if GoPro join us at GoProFanatics.com

Glad you enjoyed the video Dtbprc Guy !! :notworthy:

I take it you haven't watched many of my other video's ... ... cause at times, I do change the mounting location to get different views ... ... kinda depends on how I feel & how much I want to tinker with the camera compared to just riding. :woot:

Nope, don't use a GoPro ... :nah: .... had one & sold it. I use Drift cameras ...

Again, glad you enjoyed the video & Thanks for watch'in !! :seeyac:

  2. Haven't been on the forum for a LONG time because for some reason, for me at least, it's been super slow loading & sometimes, it just never did. :aargh:

But today, the Admin guy(s) I guess did something :notworthy: (after I finally contacted them) & the forum is a tad quicker loading pages for me now .... :jiggy: SOOOO ... I thought I would post my latest video.

You'll notice, my bike has changed. Back in June I traded in a perfectly fine Can-Am MAX-XT 800 for a New Can-Am MAX-XT 1000. Yes, I've been doing a "Few" mods, but nothing like I did on the 800. :nah:

This video is from a ride my buddy and I did a couple weeks ago in the Uinta Mountains of Northern Utah. We did 84 miles on this ride, so you can tell this video shows just a small portion of the ride ... let's see how it loads & I hope You Enjoy it !!

  4. Since my tracking days are over for this season, :frown: ... I put together some clips from all my different Track Rides to show just how much fun I & my riding buddies had !! :jiggy:

It's a tad long again, :twitsy: ... but I did leave out a lot of what I felt was good stuff. So I hope you enjoy what I did put together !!

  5. I had put a "Teaser" video on Youtube a day or two ago, but didn't put it on the forum. Here's the full version of the "Last Track Ride of The Season". :aargh:

Sure hate to see the tracking season come to an end  ... but it's only about 234 days from now until it returns, :jiggy: so .. PRAY FOR SNOW !! :woot:

We had a fantastic day on the snow & this video is longer than usual for me. There was just to much good stuff & I still left a lot of good stuff out of this. So, grab some popcorn & sit back & enjoy this 15 1/2 minute movie !! :lurk5c:

Hope you enjoy it ....

  6. Sorry I didn't post this vid sooner, but it's taking forever for the forum web site to load (for me anyway) & I get frustrated pretty quick.

I got a new Rigid SR2 6 inch LED Light bar in a DRIVING pattern I won in a photo contest and I FINALLY got it mounted. So, I wanted to go for a night ride to see if it made much difference when added to the Rigid SR-M's I have on the handlebars, which have a SPOT pattern & the Rigid Dually's in a FLOOD pattern.

Here's a short video of a GREAT night ride I had. Man I like these lights !!

  8. My Track’in Buddy and I went for another track ride this week. The weather has been kind of warm and after last week’s ride, we figured our track’in days may be numbered. Yes, the snow down around 7200 ft (2195 m) where we park is melting kind of fast, so we decided to check out the higher elevations, because once the lower elevation snow is gone from the trail / closed highway (which is the only way to get to the snow up high) we won’t be going up there until they open the road for vehicle travel. :aargh:

The temps even up where we rode have been in the 40 degs F (4c) but the day we rode it never got above 34 degs F (1c) and the snow was still melting. I will say however, the snow conditions were the best they have been for a couple years. It was just fabulous !! :partyc:

We had so much fun and covered so much ground that we put 49 miles (79 km) on the bikes. That’s not the most I’ve put on in a day, but dang close. We put all four extra gallons (15 L) we carried in the bikes and still had a little over half a tank of fuel when we got back to the trucks too.

I had what I considered a ton of great video footage, and didn’t really use much of it in this video and it still came out at 13 ½ minutes … so I hope it’s not too long of a video for some and I hope everyone enjoys it !! :seeyac:

  9. We had a storm go thru the area on the 3rd, Monday & Monday night, so on the 4th, Tuesday morning, I loaded up the Bad To The Bone Tracked Can-Am & went for a ride. WHAT A GREAT DAY !! :partyc:

Started out with a temp of -5 degs F when I got to the parking lot. But then another storm came in while I was riding. It got cloudy, wind started howl’in, snow was fall’in & it warmed up a bit …. All the way to 12 degs F by the time I returned to the truck.

The only negative of the day, when I stopped for lunch, someplace along the way, I had lost my soft cooler with my drinks … I’ve had that cooler for several years & I was a little upset. :frown: Oh well, time to get a new one I guess.

This video is a little longer than I intended, and it still doesn’t show some of the awesome ride I had, so I hope you enjoy what I put together …

  10. THANKS Guys ... glad you enjoyed the video !! :notworthy::notworthy:

I have a question thou ... how come when I post up a vid ... the post is all screwed up ?? :aargh: By that I mean, it's skinny, craps all in different spots, some of my signature is missing ?? ..... Who'd I tick off this time ??

  11. What a way to end 2013 ... A friend and I went out for another track ride, the snow conditions were GREAT !! :cheer: ... and we had a blast !! :jiggy:

Only saw two other people & we helped pull one of them out of a snow bank. Better him than us !! :smilielol5c:

We could use more snow, but the ride on this day was AWESOME !! :woot:

I only used 7 of 22 of the video clips I had of the days ride, so there's still some great ride footage on the cutting room floor !! Hope you enjoy what clips or portions of them I did use ... and remember to change the video Quality to 1080p for the best viewing enjoyment !! :seeyac:

  12. Put a little video together using timelapse ... what a pain ... of installing the tracks on my Can-Am. I didn't include taking the front A-Arms guards off, the rear CV Boot protectors off, of me greasing the bike, fixing a loose front brake rotor, and swapping out the Elka's for my Can-Am HPG shocks for the winter.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the video .... Now … if it would JUST SNOW !! :aargh:
