  1. Had fun today my daughter & 2 friends of hers and I rode for about 4 hours or more today. I got my old Prairie muddy and my daughter didn't want to take her forman she got thru the mud so she wanted to swap quads with me. The bad part is I didn't mind getting her quad muddy. Then she said she didn't want to get hers stuck. lol

  2. Your carbs may be out of sync. You can do a search on how to sync the carbs and how to make a homemade tool for doing the job. I think it was rattle bars I found the info on synchronizing the carbs. May be something for you to check into if there out of sync it can have a big effect on how the quad will run and its not good for the motor.

  3. I never thought adding a quad to my garage would be so much work. My wife and I have spent 2 days & going on 3 cleaning out our garage so we can get both quads & our truck in the garage and have room to open the doors to get out of the truck. 2 days 2 loads to the dump and a load for day 3 is loaded.

  4. I here you! He said he only rode it about 2 times him self and he had it at the Honda dealer to be serviced. I think he sold it for his Dad. He knew nothing about the atv. I ask about oil changes he didn't know of any so I got a filter & oil on the way to pick up the quad. The oil looked like it had just been changed. He didn't even clean out the storage compartments. It came with bullets but there was no rifle.

  5. Whats funny to me the Forman we just bought is a foot shift. When I was asking the seller ?s he said it had a hand clutch. His father bought it new and it was given to him but he said he never rode it much so when we got there and looked at the quad I said that's a rear brake not a clutch he insisted it was a clutch. It would be funny seeing the quad stop every time he went to shift gears and still not know its a brake. He was 20 something yrs.old .

  6. Cool ! I ran into a friend that works for our local shop he ask if I new anyone that would to buy a Troy Lee edition Polaris pred 500. He said it needs the carb cleaned, tires & seat covered but runs good just don't idle and has an ugly paint job. Heres the kicker he said he will take 300.00 bucks for it! That's right 300. not 3000.

  7. about 17 years ago I test rode a Honda big red atc and didn't buy it because it pulled bad and at the time I didn't know that low air pressure could caused it. The seller said it was a low tire but didn't offer to put air in it & let me ride it again and it was at a shop so I didn't think he was telling the truth. If I knew as a seller the tire was low I would taken care of that before they let people ride it. I would have bought it if I knew he was telling the truth.

  8. I went to move my daughters atv and had trouble getting it to start. I didn't think it had been rode enough to be out of gas I was wrong I had truned the fuel cock to what I thought was res. & I was turning it to off. It took awhile before I realized what I was doing! Add gas and it will run. My brain fart for today.

  9. Found two orv trails Top Trails is 70 miles of trails & Kentuck is 20+ miles of trails each trail system cost 5.00 for the day one is 24/7 as long as you have head lights & tail lights you can ride at night. Top Trails has more to offer camping ,shooting range, zip line almost a mile long, & their adding more. We plan on going back for a trail ride.

  10. That trick didn't work! I had tried a good tap then I used a cutting disc and made a slot for a flat head screw driver it failed to. I felt I got lucky when the bit worked that it dug in and removed the screw. I got them bleed and there working great. The new screws with the anti-seize so I hope they want seize up again.

  11. Nothing seems to never go right the pads were easy to change but the screws for the master cylinder almost got the best of me. head completely stripped out on 1. I was able to get it out with the bits for removing stripped screw heads. Now it has new screws and anti-seize.

    HiCustomer

I've got the same machine and am very happy with it. It's built like a tank. The tranny runs in the same housing as the engine and uses the engine oil. That is why you should run a motorcycle or ATV oil. The clutch uses the same oil also, so it gets hard use. You can use 5-30 in the winter and either 10-40 or 20-50 in the summer. I hope that helps you out. (This is the answer I found by searching the internet I copied and pasted it) Just double check what it states first. Hope this helps found it on (just ask).
