  1. Well I found specs on my Yamaha Warrior saying dry weight as 397lbs.

Now the question is if I add the oil and about a gallon and a half of gas and and coated it in mud how much would it weigh. I had it stuck in a wash and I picked up the front end and put it up on the ledge of the wash then picked up the rear end and rolled it up on to the ledge of the wash.

Had a sore chest all week cause of that.

  2. You have to pull up the handle then move it back. If the handle won't pull up then it won't go back far enough to shift into reverse.

When my friend got his Warrior it wouldn't go into reverse cause the handle wouldn't pull up. I took the handle part off and started oiling it up till I got it to move.

If the rubber is still on it you will have to pull it back and you will see a nut. Take the nut off and then the locking handle should come off. Might have to mess with it some to get it off. When the handle if off you'll have to start oiling it and trying to twist it a little and pull at it. It may take a little to get it to move.

  3. Please edit your title to include year make and model stating oil leak.

Yes I know what it is now but if you put it in the title someone that has one might see the thread and decide to view it and try to help.

I can't help in this cause I don't have a clue about the Kodiak. I have a Warrior.

    Sorry I couldn't help

  4. Too me it sound like the computer has a problem. If the odometer is working but the speedometer isn't then there is a short in the computer or broken spot on the display board that is stopping it from displaying speed.

Not related to the speedo but to explain the broken board. I had a CB in my van I had and the transmit worked till it got warmed up. Took it to the shop and they found a small crack in the connection. Made contact cold but after electric flow through it some and it got warm it lost connection.

  5. My Warrior seems to have a high idle. When I turn the spring loaded screw out it idles down but then the engine will start backfiring through the carb after I ride it for a little. It will die and have trouble starting after it's warm. The screw below it I think is Air mix screw but I can not screw the screw in or out. The screw below it may not be the air screw but I can't see any other screw.
