  1. Yeah. I just downloaded it. I tried an hour ago but it didn't work then. Thanks for the tips.
  2. Thanks. That's what I have been thinking. The bracket for the sprocket won't move so I'm thinking I will have to pull the axle out to the left. Thanks for the diagram. I will save that.
  3. Thanks. I tried that already but you can't download anything until you've made 10 posts. Thanks. That's what I have been thinking. The bracket for the sprocket won't move so I'm thinking I will have to pull the axle out to the left.
  4. The bearings went bad but I don't know how to remove the rear axle to replace them. Any advice would be appreciated.

  6. That was the fix!! Shining everything up did the trick! Thanks so much. You saved me a ton of money and endless aggravation. Next time, before throwing money at it I will check with Quadcrazy first. Thanks a million, Deke
  7. OK. I will try that first. I will let you know the results. May take a few days. BTW- I would like to make a new positive cable. I have wire suitable to make new battery cables but there is a smaller gauge red wire attached to the red battery cable. I don't know what it does so have left the cable alone. Can you tell me what the small wire is for and the best way to splice it to a new battery cable? Thanks, Deke
  8. I have a '94 160cc Quadrunner. Old, but has been working great. Suddenly one day when I tried to restart it all I hear is a loud and rapid clicking from the solenoid up by the battery. I bought a new solenoid online but that doesn't fix it. I took off the starter and it spins fine on the bench. I reinstalled the starter and then went directly from the battery to the pole of the solenoid that goes to the starter and it turned over so I think the battery is ok. It was brand new last November. I'm thinking it must be the solenoid. Seems unlikely that a brand new solenoid from Bikebandit.com would be defective but is that what the problem is? If so, I can send it back. Is there a way to test it with a multimeter to see if I get 12 volts? Could it be something else? Sure would appreciate any help. Deke
  9. Thanks for getting back. The choke is mounted on the left side of the handle bars so I don't know if the knob I'm talking about is part of the choke or not. I don't think so but I will take a closer look tonight and maybe a photo and post again. As to the idle, I can certainly clean the carb but what I'm wondering is if the fact that I just started using regular gas and the previous owner used high test might make a difference in how it idles. I can't use high test at today's prices so I will have to find a way to make it run smoothly on regular gas.
  10. I need a little help here. I just bought a '94 160 cc Quadrunner and I really don't know anything about these. It stalls when it goes to idle. I can't turn the idle screw in any farther so I'm thinking it's the air screw. Can anyone tell me which screw is the air screw? Are there any other adjustments for idle? Also, there is a kind of plunger under the tank that you can pull in and out about a quarter of an inch. Can anyone tell me what that is? Any help would be appreciated.
