Hey,

I am useing a friends quad runner and want to change the oil as it has been sitting. I don,t have a manual and since it isnt mine, I don t want to buy one. I changed the fuel and put my own battery in it and it runs good. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! The tag on the frame says it is a LT-4WD K and I am only guessing on the year.

thanks, Slidemnt Ken

The filter will be on the right side of the bike(when you are sitting on it) down at the bottom of the case, there will be 3 bolts you will have to take out then pop the cover off to access it. Note there are two sets of 3 bolts on that same side but as I said it will be the bottom three. Also on that side, if you have cleaned it good enough to see, you will see the sight glass that allows you to check the oil level and right below that there should be some numbers with ML after it this will tell you how many quarts of oil you need to use, Just remember that each quart is 941.1764905 so you will just divide the number on the case by that number to figure out how many to use. By my reading u can use 10w40 for the oil, hope this helps

Hi guys. I have a problem where the quad will start and run well for about 5 minutes and then it dies. On inspection the airbox has oil in it (quite a lot). The oil is pumping through the cylinder head breather hose. This problem first happened suddenly. I have since done the top end including, piston, gaskets, rings and valves. I have also done the carb (not that I thought that this was the problem). The compression seems normal. The only thing that I can think of, is that I did not grind the valves well enough. Anyone experienced this? If so, how did you fix it? Any other thoughts?

Hi, I am having issues with my TRX350D fuel pump.  It suddenly stopped running so I have replaced all the fuses and cleaned all the terminals.  I have fitted a new pump, fuel cut-off relay and rectifier.  Still nothing!!  The pump runs when attached to a battery.  The engine will start on the choke and the filter fills with fuel but it will  not rev and dies when the choke is closed. I have power to the relay but nothing at the pump black/white wire when cranking the engine.  Any ideas where to go from here would be very much appreciated!!
