2006 Yahama Kodiak 450 ignition question

The hubby took our ATV hunting this week and it was super mucky up north. He ended up in a low spot and had difficulty getting out. He got the ATV stuck in a major way, and then suddenly it shut off by itself and now the ignition doesn't work. Any thoughts or ideas of what it could be? The ATV has maybe 1200 miles on it, and has never given us an inkling of trouble in the nearly four years we've owned it. Any info will be gratefully passed on to him.

Yes, hubby got home last night. All lights and such work. No response from start button at all. Can some mud damage electronics? It’s not terribly filthy but when he said it got “hung up” in a ditch, it turned itself off.

      I got a 2005 350 Raptor Special Edition and I'm dealing with a no start issue; the weirdest thing is when I'm cranking it fires and slows down showing signs of pre firing, smoke shoots out the carburetor every time it sparks. every electrical part (CDI, Rectifier, Stator, Coil) has been swapped out from previous owner, the top end of the engines all new and I cleaned the carb out, anyone got any ideas or similar problems, also is it possible to have a bad spark timing

      We went hunting over the three day weekend and killed these two plus three smaller ones.
      I can't remember how many shots it took but it was a lot.

      So for us here in NY southern zone the deer rifle hunting season opens up tomorrow morning at sun up!  Looks like about 8-10 inches of ❄️  fell up where we hunt.
      The bikes are ready, gear loaded and ready to go bags packed and the truck gassed up! 
      To all my fellow hunters that will be out there chasing that big buck; should some of us get lucky..... may be using their ATV to load up that deer and take him to the butcher  I say good luck be careful and be safe.  
      Post some pics of how you did or didn’t do lol because it’s not about always shooting something but the time spent enjoying the woods and fresh air and riding in the ❄️!
      My oldest boy is of age to have his rifle and big game tag this year so this is a special year, wish him some Quadcrazy luck! 
      Im banking on one of us getting lucky 🦌 this year especially bc I am out of venison 😢. I make some really good jerky and pot roast!

      2003 Kawasaki Bayou 250 no power to ignition

      Im not getting 12v to ignition switch with key off or on I've jumped brown wire from starter relay to positive and neutral light comes on and push button start works. Can't figure out where to go from here any help appreciated l.
