Confusion about my Kodiak model.

When I bought my ATV in 2008, in Montreal, Canada, it came as a 2008 Kodiak 400cc, model YFM4F

When I do a vin search, i get the below info. I though tI heard at one time that the models in Canada and US might have different names?

So when looking for parts which do i choose? Kodiak or Big Bear? It has a Kodiak emblem on the atv itself.

Can you post a photo of your Kodiak? Either in this topic or in the gallery is fine. Also, what website are you using to decipher your vin#?

I used vindecoder.eu

As it was the only one that came back with full info. As for a photo at the moment this is all i can come up with...my buddy is standing on the green one its mine, and the blue one is the same model, we bought both at the same time. Not sure if it helps, i can look for better pics.

Ya, a few come backup with different results... thats whats confusing.... But anyway, I am sure the parts i want to replace are generic, like lights....
