Hey just after some advice. I purchased the above mention bike back in mid May.

I had the Occasional issue with starting the bike. When trying to start the bike It would make  a Clicking noise when the start button was pushed.

So I used the pull start all ok.

I checked the battery and the starter solorid / relay and found the terminial had  corrosion on them.

I clean them up and have no issues since.

However last night the issue came back with clicking when pushing the start buttoned he time.

Any ideas? Relay or starter motor?

Since you  found  corrosion  on the one terminal,  check all the others to the starter. Try jumping  directly  from the battery to the starter terminal.  If it spins over you  know it is a bad connection or  broken wire .  If it does not  the problem  is most likely in the  brushes in the  starter. Press the start button  and rap on the  starter . That will often  make the  brushes contact and spin the starter over ..  It  may continue to  work  for  a while after that ,  but if not  it  isn't  very difficult to  replace the brushes.

      Hey I have a 1997 big bear 350 4x4
I replaced the shifter shaft and the shift arm linkage and the rod when I installed them all I was unaware that you had to line the dot on the shifter shaft with the gap on the linkage arm gap put it all back  together and rode it I can't get it to shift in the right gears  I can move the shift cam by hand and goes in different gears but with the shifter shaft in it riding I can't put it in R or N
Anyone know how to line up the shifter shaft and the shift cam s

This is something I'm extremely curious about. Has anyone ever attempted to buy a quad (or any other vehicle) from an impound lot? I've always wondered if this could be a bargain, or a waste of time. Google searches do turn up some helpful results. Looks like the state of NJ holds auctions online which I'd be a bit hesitant about.

My online searches haven't really turned up any results of anyone buying an ATV this way. I'd be really curious if anyone tried this, or knows someone who has. I've actually found a couple pages with online auctions for my state, but none had ATVs.

I have a 97 Yamaha Timberwolf and it is beyond loud, is there any good options to silence them or at least make them bare able to drive. I know it has a crack in the exhaust pipe, but even with that fixed its still loud.

Hey all back again with my 1989 moto 4 250.
After putting a new carb on it it's really sputtery, it has new gas and I'm wondering what to tune on the carb to make it idle better. I've attached a video to describe the issue more. The bike is still work in progress but I think the video gets the point across. Thanks!

I added more fresh gas it sat one day now, it's acting up again. Before cleaning out carburetor it wouldn't idle good and had gas leaks from carburetor. Now it idles pretty good but, if I increase throttle speed at a certain amount it starts missing bad. I'm going to try and post a short video. Just about ready to give up on this thing.😒  you can see reflection perking in video.
