Now I need some settings and maybe the "what not to do for Gods sake" before I start dis-assembling. Anything guys. I see there is an idle adjust cable Is there any other settings on this carb? My drain screw appears well used :(

My advice, is before you disassemble be sure to take some pics of the current configuration.  When you remove the needles and jets, count the turns for example on the pilot jet....  be very careful cleaning the components as not to damage the rubber parts, such as the diaphragm or O-rings.  Just take your time for disassembly, cleaning, ane reassembly and you should be good to go.  I also recommend watching a couple of videos on cleaning a carb (for do's and dont's), you can find some on youtube easily.

My experience with any carb is to carefully document the removal and have some sort of guidance document for where the gaskets go and how they are oriented. You can spend a lot of time troubleshooting something because a gasket was put on backwards. Documentation is the key.

I have an ultrasonic cleaner, they work really well.  However, Frank is correct, you must do the heavy cleaning first before using the ultrasonic.  I would say they are mostly not necessary for a 1 off carb cleaning.

Hi guys, I have a 2004 big bear 400. Last winter while plowing the driveway, I heard a loud pop from the left side of the engine. It continued to run as I looked for leaky fluid, but then died shortly after backing it up and won’t start now. The oil light comes on when I try to start it, no noise or anything else.
No blown fuses that I can find.
