So not only do i have an issue with my suzuki but also a yamaha i got in trade. Basically when you jump the solenoid or push the start button all the starter does is spin. Does not engage motor. I know its not locked up. Guy that i got it from said starter was bad but i dont believe that one bit since it spins when you appmy power. Any ideas?

Yea, maybe the polarity is backwards. Take the starter off and put your finger on the gear it should turn (in the whole). The starter needs to turn the direction the gear cant be pushed with your finger.  That resistance is the direction the starter should turn to start it. That is if this year bike doesn't jump out to engage like a car starter.

I believe the starter gear should turn right, it does on my yamaha.

It  could  be the starter clutch. Its common and happens.   Pull the starter out and bench test it with 12v and see how she spins.  If the gear ⚙️ spins then the starter is fine.    That would leave only the starter clutch of the gear on the starter clutch lost a few teeth.   Shine a flashlight inside the engine and you can see the gear.  Make sure it has teeth. You can also stick your finger inside and try to spin it.  Its should spin free one way and not the other.   If it spins both ways then 100% stater clutch.

      Hi all,
Looking for some help on a starter/bendix issue. Can Am outlander 450 2017. While cranking to start, the starter spins and engages into the ring gear. After a few seconds the bendix retracts while still spinning and there is no damaged teeth on the drive pulley.

Wiring shows White and Brown to solenoid blades. Then a black wire from starter circuit relay to solenoid. I am confused,  where is that black wire supposed to connect?
      Thanks for any help

      Hey I have a 1997 big bear 350 4x4
I replaced the shifter shaft and the shift arm linkage and the rod when I installed them all I was unaware that you had to line the dot on the shifter shaft with the gap on the linkage arm gap put it all back  together and rode it I can't get it to shift in the right gears  I can move the shift cam by hand and goes in different gears but with the shifter shaft in it riding I can't put it in R or N
Anyone know how to line up the shifter shaft and the shift cam s

Sorry I suck at these forums so if you see this submitted under update status, my bad. Anyhow this is a new shock for a 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4x4 it fits my 96 Yamaha Timberwolf 250 4x4 perfectly. Little narrower are the bottom than the original but everything else is perfect. I extended it to almost a half in from full extension because I’m pushing 350 pounds.  It rides and hold me well. So if any of y'allRace driven shock. have been looking for one and didn’t want to do the research here it is.

I WANTED TO UPGRADE THE CARBURATOR ON MY 1992 BIG BEAR 350, SO I ORDERED A NEW CARB FROM EBAY.  ACCORDING TO THE WRITE-UP IT WAS A GOOD FIT FOR BIG BEARS FROM 1988 TO 1996.  WHEN I REMOVED MY ORIGINAL CARB I NOTICED THAT IT WAS DIFFERENT FROM THE NEW CARB MY CARB HAD TWO THROTTLE  CABLES THE NEW CARB ONLY HAD ONE CABLE.  HOW CAN I MAKE THIS CARB WORK ON MY TWO CABLE THROTTLE?
