1994 Polaris 300 2x4 won’t fire

Just my 2 cents, but if you are trying to spray starting fluid into the carb and you can see that you have spark(and you know that you don't have it flooded)...

you could  try to take plug out crank it several times 1st-(good time to check spark again, and to make sure it wasn't flooded)

-pour a SMALL amount of gas into the spark plug hole

-Replace plug and try again cranking.... if it hits  and dies quickly try gas into the carb again-

-Try gas back in the carb again... if that doesn't work (and gas in the spark plug hole did)... you may have an issue with the inlet valve

      1988 kawasaki klf300 bayou no start

      I just rode my klf 300 all day yesterday, and today when i went to unload it it would not start. When i took the plug out to check for spark it only produced a very faint weak looking spark and it was not consistant with rolling over, is this from a bad ignition coil or could it just be a loose conection somewhere?

      Have had the carb apart twice now and can"t find any obvious problems. but if I leave the fuel on it floods the float bowl and leaks out the overflow. What should I be checking?

      My first quad and I have a problem. I have a Kawasaki Bayou 300 1997. When I start it. It will go on high idle for about ten seconds before it goes down to low idle. It does this even when I don't touch the throttle or the choke.
      Also, when I give it some throttle and let go. It will come back to fast idle for about ten seconds before it comes down to slow idle. Therefore I have to wait for it to slow up before I can shift. The throttle linkage drops right back to the stop on the carb buy the rpms stay up for a while. If you have any ideas what might be wrong please let me know. thank you Fred

      2004 Polaris Sportsman 600 Carb question

      Hi guys!
      I recently acquired a 2004 Sportsman 600 4x4.  It originally ran great but now It runs very rough and only with choke on.  It dies when you hit the throttle. I will be removing the carb for a good cleaning.  At this point I'm thinking it's a fuel issue.  I replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter today as they are cheap.  When I get the carb back we will see how it goes.  If it still runs bad I might try bypassing the fuel pump and running direct from tank to carb.  Any ideas as to what I should be trying would be greatly appreciated.
      Also, the carb has two nipples in the front in the front on each side.  The left side has a vent hose on it but the right side is capped off.  Shouldn't this one be venting as well?  See pic.  
      I did pick up a new aftermarket carb to have just in case.  There is a hose fitting on the right rear that my OEM carb doesn't have.  What would this be for?  I would think just keep that on capped? (See pic)
